Protecting Paw & Nose Balm

There is no scent, which makes it pleasant to use on the face, lips, and hands, especially in colder months when the skin becomes tight or flaky. A tiny amount is enough, and the tin lasts far longer than expected.The ingredient list is natural and easy to recognise, with oils and waxes that feel gentle and steady on the skin. The formula absorbs slowly enough to protect dry areas but still settles well after a short time.

Barkin & Meowson Protecting Balm for Nose & Paws 60gI absolutely love the products from Barkin & Meowson and so do my tail mates. This protective balm can be applied to nose and paws. The thicker consistency helps the balm to stay in place for longer. The formula is also fragrance free. The ingredients are 99% natural too, what’s not to like?

My favourite dog-pal (Paco) often gets dry and cracked paws and nose (particularly his nose) so I regularly purchase balm to give him some relief. His nose gets especially bad in the winter months.This Barkin & Meowson (cool brand name!) comes in a metal tin with a screw top lid, with 60g / 60ml of balm inside. It's 99% Natural Ingredients, Cruelty Free, pH Balanced, Fragrance, Sulfate and Paraben Free and contains a few oils: beeswax, soybean, jojoba, coconut, sweet almond.Beforehand I use micellar water (pretty much water + soap) on a cotton pad to cleanse Paco's paws / nose, then massage Nose & Paw Balm onto his skin.A little goes a long way. The balm is a bit harder and not as soft as, say, Vaseline but it melts into the fingertips and should last a long time.There's no scent (that doesn't stop his younger, always-hungry dog companion Zuri from trying to lick it off when she gets her pamper session! Her skin's nowhere as dry as Paco's). Zuri gets jealous if she doesn't get the same treatment :)After a few days, Paco's nose is much smoother and doesn't seem to "annoy" him as much (I sometimes catch him pawing his nose when we run out of balm). Nose & Paw Balm is an essential for him and it's reassuring to know his skin's more comfortable.The current price of £13.95 is a tad pricey but okay when on offer. This seems to be a more "premium" pet range so the cost is in line with other products from Barkin & Meowson (who sell items like pet shampoos, conditioners, sprays, etc).These balms last absolutely ages - so it's worth it for a natural, gentle, effective product.

Balm for nose and paws although I only use it on dogs paws as mine never have a dry nose but I can see it would be ideal for those that suffer from cracked or dry snitches. There is no smell which is good . Its nice and thick but does rub in well . The only thing I'm not so keen on is the tin - its soft aluminium and the lid is quite tight to put on - one of my efforts actually made the tin mishapen - this is possibly as the balm actually only half fills the tin, so I would prefer it in a smaller tin making it more convenient to carry around with you. It is effective and I like that it is paraben, sulfate & cruelty free. Interestingly although 99% natural I dont notice anywhere where it says it is lick safe. Its slightly more expensive than some balms but not enough to prevent me buying it

Only discovered this brand recently but really love them and this is a lovely nose balm form them - very effective and easy to apply. A little goes a long way too so should last a long time so is good value too. Is good for paw pads too and leaves them lovely and soft with no weird smell. Very safe for your pup and good value for the brand and what it is so would fully recommend and happily get again.
