Barkin&Meowson came to life thanks to a certain hair care product manager who felt like pets were underserved.

Dorothy, a proud rescuer of three cats, Oliver, Olivia and Gigi, mom of a golden retriever, Benji, and a regular helping hand at several rescue organizations, thought the pet care market is not reaching its potential in delivering products that help pets feel better in their skin, and shine brighter on the outside.

For her, bringing better at home care to pets and their parents, is a mission.

Choosing the right care for your pet’s coat and skin type is essential to maintain both the health of their skin and the condition of their coat, while also making your life easier and cuddle time this much more pleasant. Which is our ultimate goal: healthy and happy pets, eased and satisfied pet parents, and the warmest and softest bond between them. Different coats and skins—whether double, single, curly, sensitive or itchy—have unique needs and we aim at providing the safest and most effective care to them —always consulted with a veterinary dermatologist, free of harsh ingredients, and produced at a GMP certified facility — and that's at the very least.
