Hypoallergenic Shampoo

I’ve been using this shampoo on my Goldendoodle, and it’s been good so far. His curly coat tends to mat really easily, but after using this shampoo, her fur is noticeably softer, more manageable, and less prone to tangles. I love that it’s fragrance free and hypoallergenic, it didn’t cause my dog any redness or irritation at all. The shampoo lathers well, rinses out easily, and leaves his coat feeling hydrated without any greasy residue. I also appreciate the 350ml size, it lasts a long time, which makes it great value. The pump bottle is convenient when your hands are all wet. It’s a cruelty free product which is very important to me. It is also vet recommended. Overall, this shampoo is good quality and has made grooming a good experience for both me and my dog. Would recommend for curly haired breeds or pets that can get irritation from harsher products.

After drying, my puppies coats felt incredibly soft, fluffy, and shiny.A little goes a long way, so the bottle should last quite a while. Barkin & Meowson MedExpert Hypoallergenic Intensive Hydration Shampoo 350ml / 11.83 fl.oz.I know it seems expensive but in the broader scale of shampoos I've tried over the years it's actually not that bad in price.The pump is easy to use, it lathers up easily and rinses out easily.I my English Springer Spaniel who has reacted to "sensitive skin" shampoos in the past did not have any reaction to this shampoo at all.It has a lovely scent and left both my Springer and German Shepherds fur beautifully soft and glossy.We're really happy with it and honestly cannot find anything negative about it.

Nice to have the choice of a pump but I prefer without when you’re holding off a dirty Labrador in one hand and need shampoo in the other, I find a pump a bit of a faff. Sometimes, I water down a thicker shampoo and just pour it directly on to the dogs coat, it makes it easier to rub in this way, less product is needed and it’s easier to rinse out . Incidentally, this also makes it more cost effective. Did I mention price? Wow. More expensive than my Redken and although used less regularly there is a far higher surface area to cover on the hound.. I think it unlikely I will purchase this again. For starters I did not need the hypoallergenic element although the hydration element was appreciated. It’s a lovely product, Just not lovely enough for me. Or my hulk of a dog.

My little JRT has an all white coat, which means after nearly every outing, even just around the street, she comes back not only with dirty paws but with a dirty tummy, even with a coat that covers it and so needs a bath, usually a few times a day. I don't like to constantly use the same shampoo and as I had never seen one for a single coat dog, hers is short and single, I was really pleased to try this one and am happy to say it has now been added to my rotation of shampoos.It smells nice and my dog is happy with it, no scratching after use, sneezing or turning away as if trying to remove herself from the scent. She happily lets me use it on her. It gives nice foam that really does clean her coat - when you rinse off, you see the foam is dirty, carrying the dirt away, leaving her with a lovely clean coat. She sheds all year round, although admittedly this time of year (November) not as much as she will in warmer months, but since using this shampoo, I have noticed that she is shedding less hair than usual ( at 10 now I know how her coat acts throughout the year). Definitely a shampoo that will be used regularly from now on.Her coat actually seems slightly thicker since starting to use this shampoo and it is not her winter coat coming in, that will not happen until the weather is much colder and then it's not much thicker. It is nice to have a shampoo that is especially for her coat, just like we like to have a shampoo for our type of hair. This brand has the correct shampoo for every dog's coat, which I think is so good.
