My wife literally spilled some of our cat's wet food onto the poor thing's head the day before I got this.  We tried to wipe the cat's head with baby wipes throughout the afternoon, but she was basically walking around with a fishy mohawk for the rest of the day.  This no rinse cleansing spray was the perfect solution, since it was just the top of her head that needed some TLC, and we didn't want to subject her to the trauma of a bath.  After we lightly spritzed this, we rubbed it in a bit and cleaned her off with a wet wipe again.  We then combed her head and left her alone to dry.  Soon she was feeling fresh and her head smelled clean -- no tuna smell, and no unnecessary fragrance either.This product is really useful if your pet is not yet due for a full groom or bath, and maybe just got into a tiny bit of dirt or something.  Especially for cats, most of whom are known to hate getting wet, this type of thing is great for light cleansing without breaking your kitty's trust and making it a whole "thing."  Would recommend.

This is a good product for quickly refreshing your dogs coat when they’re not so keen on bathing.It’s easy to apply and brushes through with minimal effort.No lingering smell which is great if you are sensitive to certain fragrances.Leaves coat shiny and clean feeling with no residual greasiness.Not a bad price either.

Great for my staffy that hates water or a shower. This stuff is amazing and works great on his skin. Would highly recommend.

I already use the Barkin & Meowson shampoo & conditioner, which I love, but I wanted something to use for those days in between baths. This cleansing spray does a great job at keeping my dog clean in between proper baths. It's easy to use; just spray the coat, brush through and let it dry. There are no nasty additives or scents, so I feel ok using it on my dog. He has sensitive skin, so I am very wary of what I use on him. So far the hypoallergenic range has exceeded my expectations. It is a bit pricey, but it works, and it doesn't irritate his skin, so I don't mind paying extra for that.

This is incredible shampoo - the ingredients are gently, nourishing and soothing. Perfect for wintertime when pooch frequently comes home mucky. He tolerates his allergy shampoo baths but this is great for quickly cleaning dirt / mud off his belly and legs.His allergy symptoms are already improved, fur looking great and skin is MUCH better.This shampoo is fab, not only for dogs who don’t like baths, but for owners who sometimes can’t manage to do it - dodgy backs etc. So handy to have in the cupboard. It’s expensive for the size but hopefully it’ll last quite a while.

Wanted something for a quick freshen up between proper baths, and while this works okay, I wasn't massively impressed. It's a clear spray that goes on easy enough, but I didn't really notice much of a cleansing effect - the dog didn't feel noticeably cleaner afterwards. There's barely any smell to it either, which I guess is the point with hypoallergenic stuff, but it does mean you don't get that freshly-washed feeling.One thing I did notice was a bit of stinging on my hands while applying it. The dog didn't seem bothered at all, so maybe it's just me, but worth mentioning if you've got sensitive skin yourself.It's fine, just nothing special.

You just brush the fur and then spray a little on and then massage it in. There is no need to rinse it off.Our dog usually doesn't like having spray put on (perhaps it's cold – we don't know), but as you brush him first, which he loves, he didn't mind and allowed me to massage it in, but then would only let me do one side before he ran away. I found that spraying it on my hand first and then massaging it in worked best.The next day, I noticed that his coat was much softer and easier to brush. At £15.95 for a 150ml bottle it is quite expensive, but a little goes a long way so it should last quite a while.Overall, despite the higher price point, I'd recommend this for pet owners seeking a gentle, waterless cleaning solution for sensitive skin. It's been a game-changer for us in managing our rescue dog's hygiene without the stress of bath time, and I'm pleased to have found a product that works while being kind to his skin.

My dog really doesn’t like even stepping into the bathroom and will hide away when she thinks it is bath time. Being a very fluffy long haired breed so does get very dirty. She also has short legs so her belly tends to get itchy and often caked in mud. If it is really bad then she has no choice but to have the dreaded bath but for light dirt and to freshen up this foam is brilliant. It is easy to apply, although you do need a fair bit for a very fluffy dog, and dries nicely without needing to be rinsed or causing any itchiness. It has a very slight scent to it but it is subtle. Given her dry patches and allergies I have found this to be a real help to her. It is unfortunate that she has so much fur though as it does make it work out to be quite expensive. I haven’t decided if I would get it again but I am happy so far with the results.

This is a fab brand which we have used quite a bit jn recently weeks with shampoos and other products etc.The bottles are sturdy and well made and won't leak and although not cheap I feel.its worth every penny. Very simple to use indeed and sprays very well and really smoothly. No nasty smells or effects and seems so far to be very effective for flea control

Barkin & Meowson MedExpert Flea & Tick Shampoo with Citronella Formula 350ml / 11.83 fl.oz.We have 2 rescue dogs who hate bath times but was definitely well overdue for one so I ordered this expensive shampoo , this one is a flea and tick shampoo with a citronella formula, it has natural essential oils , ph balanced and reccomend by vets .So after chasing them around the house to bath them I finally got them in , it takes both my husband and I to do this , hubby has to make sure they don't jump out while I get down to bathing them ......I must say the shampoo smelled lovely and not much is required so should get a good few baths from this 350ml size bottle .This left their coat soft and shiny  they smelled lovely .But I did also use the same brand conditioner , it was hypoallergenic intensive hydration conditioner .This is as described , I can see why its so expensive, definitely a premium shampoo for dogs .Can recommend.Great quality.

Barkin & Meowson MedExpert Flea & Tick Shampoo.This is another gorgeous pet care product from Barkin & Meowson. The shampoo contains natural ingredients and it has a citronella smell. This should ward off fleas and ticks although it won't actually kill them if your dog's infested. The pump action bottle makes dispensing easier especially whilst you're stopping your mutt from escaping the bath tub.

I’ve been using this shampoo on my dog and I’m really pleased with it so far. The citrus scent is lovely and quite strong, which I’m hoping will help keep the fleas away. I’ve tried so many things in the past - tablets, powders, pipettes - and nothing made much difference, so I decided to add this shampoo alongside his prescribed flea treatment . It foams well, and his fur came out incredibly soft. I even spotted a few fleas washed out into the bath afterwards, which was very reassuring. I also comb him daily. This product is paraben‑free, easy to use and smells great. It’s worth every penny in my opinion. My cat is very sensitive to essential oils and strong scents, so I haven’t used it on her, but for my dog it’s been a great choice. I highly recommend it.

After attending a dog show with one of my dogs, I was horrified to discover that one of them had brought home fleas.  I bought a spot on treatment from Amazon which thankfully seemed to cure the problem.  However, he did still have signs of flea dust/droppings in his fur.  I was therefore delighted to see this product on Amazon Vine.The shampoo is in a pump dispenser bottle which is wrapped in plastic to prevent leakage during transit. Once dispensed, it has a clear, thick gel-like consistency.The shampoo has a lovely citrus scent which is noticeable, but not overpowering.  It only needs a small amount of shampoo to produce a good lather.Following washing and drying, my dog’s coat felt lovely and soft and silky with a pleasant fragrance.  This lasted for several days.  However, the best things is, I have inspected him regularly and there have been no signs of any more fleas.  Whether this is down to the spot on treatment or the shampoo, I cannnot say for sure, but I do think this is ideal either as a preventive treatment or as a follow-up to other treatments.I will certainly continue to use this shampoo, as it will also be useful when we visit the Lake District in the Summer when ticks can be an issue.In conclusion, I am happy to say that this shampoo does work. In addition it smells lovely and fresh and leaves the coat silky smooth. I would certainly buy this again as it's so easy to use as part of your grooming routine.

First of all I love the pump dispenser. If you have a medium or large dog who isn't exactly a fan of bath time, you know the struggle. The scent it’s very fresh and lemony, and leave my dog's coat clean, incredibly soft and shine.I like very much this shampoo because is very gentle on skin and it cut right through the dirt in his thick double coat without needing half the bottle.I recommend 100%.Arrived very well packaged, no leaking.

We used this shampoo for our dash hunt who has skin conditions on his underbelly. The shampoo is easy to use and lathers well without being harsh. The smell is mild and fresh and not too strong. It rinses out easily and leaves the coat clean and soft. We like that it is pH balanced and does not contain harsh ingredients, which gave us confidence to use it regularly.After about a week of use, we noticed some good signs on his underbelly. The skin looks calmer and he seems less uncomfortable than before. It also helped keep insects away during walks, which is a plus. While it may not be a complete solution on its own, it works well as part of our regular grooming routine. Overall, it is a good quality shampoo and we are happy with the results so far.

Arriving in a screw-top tin, this is a good quality and minimally greasy balm for paws and noses. The tin contains 60g, which will last a long time as a little goes a long way. The balm has no noticeable odour and my dog doesn't leave greasy footprints after I put it on her (always a plus!). Her paws feel softer already after applying it for a couple of days! Great product.
