Leave-in Cat & Dog Conditioner

Amazing... As a feline groomer there are only a few products which are cat safe. This is one which I am delighted to have found. Only a tiny amount I mean pea size for a full coated golden chinchilla Persian is enough to use. I prefer on a dry coat. Helps within a few minutes of gentle massage with fingertips into coat. Lush smell a bonus, combdx will glide better unless there's a large matt to be worked out. As only a teeny bit of this is needed it will be along time before I need to purchase another.Definitely recommend this one..Nice looking container as well, therefore doesn't look like a cheap product either.

This is the best doggie conditioner I have ever found for my cockapoo’s who are 10 months old, and you don’t need to wash it out!The texture of the conditioner is so luxurious, it’s just the exact consistency that you need for thick coats that have a habit of matting, my pups feel so soft today after using this yesterday and I have found it so much easier to undo matting that is behind their ears making an arduous task so much easier.Even the pump featured bottle is luxury looking and as the contents are so good it is such good value, I will be using this from now on after trying to find the perfect product, my search has ended!Highly recommended.

I’ve been looking for a leave-in conditioner for my little Cocker for a while, but could not find a suitable product which ticked all those important boxes, as skin care is so important for dogs. However with Barkin & Meowson you get a product which is veterinary-recommended, is paraben & sulphate-free & is made with natural lovely ingredients such as Baobab Extract. The convenience of this wonderful product is that you apply & leave, as it’s ’no rinse’. Adding softness & shine whilst strengthening hair & fur with essential amino acids, you are providing moisture & nourishment of the very best kind. I consider this amazing product to be excellent quality & great value, coming in a nice 350mls, very smart bottle. One last point, I really like that I can mix & match the shampoos & conditioners with this range, thereby there is something to suit all my fur babies. Very happy to recommend, thank you.

We love Barkin and meowson, having now had the opportunity to review several different products and found them really consistently excellent across the brand. They all have a long lasting fresh smell which is very subtle and not as over powering as other products we have used from leading brands. I do feel this must be preferable for a dogs sensitive nose. We have a standard poodle and have found Barkin and meowson's detangling products brilliant. This leave in conditioner is now a vital part of maintaining the floof and longer winter haircut on our adventure poodle with a love of water and mud (which links with her hunting heritage rather than her misplaced association with funky haircuts). I don't understand why leave in conditioners are not more widely available for dogs: as a human i find them really brilliant products for myself , and as a dog owner they remove a whole layer of stress by the removal of a further rinse, both for myself and the dog. It also means the hair remains protected by a layer of conditioner, making future brushing is easier even without additional detangler. This conditioner is great, you can feel the change in the hair texture as soon as it applied, relaxing and softening the hair, making it silkier so the dreaded tangles slide apart easier. The hair feels stronger during the subsequent drying with a velocity drier too. I do feel this product is excellent value for money because of its effectiveness , and that it is so much easier to use than a regular conditioner requiring a second rinse when we are already stressed and tired by the bathing process. Very recommended, and it has a good pump nozzle that means it is easy to get the right amount of product on the dog during the wash too.

Barkin & Meowson Leave-In Conditioner For Dogs & Cats 350mlThis is a leave in conditioner so no rinsing is required, it has a very light scent to it meaning its not too strong for your pet, The conditioner contains extracts of baobab, plant collagen, amino acids, and vitamin E, it is paraben and sulphate free meaning it is safe for pets and helps to condition and enrich their coats giving them a soft, clean and shiny feel to their coat. We found this is best applied by putting it on your hands first and spreading it across your palm before putting it on your pets coat for more even distribution

Basic expectations:I expected a gentle leave‑in conditioner that would soften fur and help with detangling.Most interesting remarks:The scent is light and pleasant, and it leaves the fur noticeably softer without feeling greasy. It’s easy to apply and spreads well, even on thicker coats. My pet’s fur looked smoother and felt more manageable after just one use. It’s also nice that it works for both dogs and cats. I tried it with both and liked the results.Things I'd like to change about it:The bottle could have a better spray mechanism, it’s fine, but not the most precise. The initial feeling is generally cold and greasy but after about 10 minutes, our doggie's hair was soft and with an aroma that does not overpower or bothers at all.My conclusion or overall impression:A lovely, effective conditioner that leaves fur soft, fresh, and easier to brush. Yet another five star product from this brand...honestly, this might be one of my favourite brands ever! Everything they produce smells gorgeous, leaves my dogs soft and fluffy, and is made with the highest quality ingredients, and this is no exception.I have a cavachon (King Charles Spaniel crossed with a Bichon Frise) and a shih tzu, neither shed hair, but they have very different coats. I thought this conditioner may work better on one of the other, but honestly it is great for both of them. It's quite thick so I dispense it into my hands, and that way I can make it warm, and then I stroke the conditioner into their coats - any excuse to stroke them and make them smell nice is a double win for me!They don't have any adverse reactions, if anything their scratching lessens when they have this on. I wish Barkin and Meowson made a human version of their products, I would buy them all in a heart beat! As with all their products they aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and given that a little goes a long way they actually work out as great value for money. If you love nice smelling, soft, fluffy doggy snuggles this conditioner is a must!

I love this conditioner from Barkin & Meowson who we have used a few times now and always find their pup products very safe and effective to use and great quality. This leave in conditioner is no different and as well as being super easy to use and very effective it smells lovely too!Great for using with dogs who don 't like too much rinsing as it's easy brushing this into their coat and leaving in. Leaves them looking smart and fresh with a nice shine and smelling lovely! Greta value for the brand and a safe and effective leave-in like this so would fully recommend and definitely get again.

I used this after shampooing dog . It really did leave her coat so soft and shiny. I’ve had a few people comment on it. I also wanted to help neutralise odours which it did . I later used it on a Dry coat and it worked just as well .

My Staffy is very sensitive, so I have to be really careful about what products I use on him.I've been very impressed by this brand. The packaging has a premium feel, and the items all seem to be of good quality.I've used this conditioner multiple times so far, and it's been great. The pump top on the bottle works very well. It comes out as a rich, creamy liquid and is very easy to apply.It hasn't irritated his skin at all, and it's left his coat super soft, smooth and shiny.I love that it's a 'leave in' product, making it so quick and easy to use!It contains natural ingredients and has a nice, fresh scent. It isn't very strong, but leaves them smelling cleaner overall.It's currently priced at £15.95 for 350 mls, which seems reasonable.I'm very happy to recommend to others.I've also tried some other products by this brand recently, and found them to be gentle yet effective.

Good leave in conditioner. I used this after I had used their medicated shampoo, so I used it on his wet coat. I did put it on my hands first and then put it on my dog, so it wasn't laid on thickly.Once he was dry I then gave him a brush/comb through and it did seem to make a difference with the lack of tangles. There were still 1 or 2 but it felt easier to get them out after having used this product.The smell doesn't last too long, but that's OK, and his coat is shiny and soft, especially with the combination of products.Overall, pleased with the brand and the product.

When I’m buying hair care products for the family, I always try to ensure they are PH Balanced, Paraben & Sulphate Free so it’s equally important that I apply this logic to any dog coat products I get as their fur needs to be looked after.The key ingredients are Baobab Extract, Plant Collagen, Amino acids and Vitamin E, all products that I look for when buying quality hair & skin products for the family so great to see these in my dogs’ conditioner,The smell is a fresh subtle scent without being too overpowering.I have a long-haired German Shephard, so this is great to work into her coat after bath time and then just leave it in. I got this for my elderly cat who doesnt groom properly anymore so can get a bit manky and smelly. I didn.t want to bath her so i thought that maybe brushing this through her fur would help her feel nicer, smell better and improve her coat. I'm not sure its the right product for that but it is nice it has the consistency of hair conditioner and a pleasant genal not overpowering or strong smell. It didn't really brush in very well and she looked a bit sticky for a while we are doing it weekly and she certainly doesnt seem to mind it she does smell a little better, i haven't really noticed an improvement in her coat yet. I think as a after bath conditioner this would be good but feel i need a spray type for my particular circumstances

A nice conditioner, and I really like the fact that it's a leave-in version, so I'm not struggling to keep the dog in the bathtub/shower for a second more than I have to!The scent is very subtle, and I have no problem with that. It's fresh and summery, and lingers overnight, to be gone the next day, which is fine. The pump action was okay, but I could have done with the top of the pump that I have to press being a bit chunkier, as when your hands are wet, they do slip off of the smooth plastic.In use it does seem to make a definite difference. I have a doodle cross, and he does get a few fine knots. I tend to try to work these out when his fur is wet, as I've found that it's the least stressful time for him. I use a conditioner or a detangler for this. definitely found that I could comb through his fur a little easier than if I used nothing, and Both myself and the dog were happy at the fact that there wouldn't be a further need to rinse. For me, it meant that I could take him out of the bath (where he doesn't want to be) and take my time to go very gently. So that was good. When dry, the fur felt a little softer but still held its curl. It's great that I can also use this on his dry coat, if he gets any mid-week tangles.I do also like the bottle design on this range, as it's not as bright or childish as other brands. It sits well on the shelf alongside other human products.In all then, I'm pretty happy with this product. It's versatile, it has a nice fresh, clean small, and it does seem to have definite effect. Recommended.
