Revitalising Shampoo for Single Coat

I have used Barkin and Meowson in the past and have always been impressed with their products. And when I saw this dog shampoo for single coat dogs I had to give it a try.I have a greyhound and although he doesn't like a bath and I use the barking and meows dry shampoo for that.I wash his legs and feet everyday as he does have a habit of weeing on the back of his front legs! Hes happy to have his feet after a his walk, where he lays down and offers me each of his paws.This shampoo smell Devine, its not over powering in away and leaves his paws smelling clean and fresh. And removes mud and dirt very easilyIt lathers up well and feels creamy and rinses easily leaving no residue. I use a 1/4 of a pump for each foot and I clean up to his elbow.It leaves his fur looking shinier and brighter. I love it!

My dog has a habit of getting a bit whiffy between walks, so regular baths are just part of life at this point. This shampoo does the job really well - the lather is great and you don't need loads of it, so the bottle should last a decent while. The scent is pleasant without being overpowering, and it actually keeps him smelling fresh for longer than some others I've tried. Coat feels soft and looks healthy afterwards. No complaints, would happily buy again.

I’m a dog walker and I walk a variety of dogs.I also own two large breed dogs myself.This shampoo is for a vizsla. She is 12, full of lumps and bumps and although she doesn’t shed much, her skin can get easily irritated.This shampoo didn’t bother her at all. She’s definitely approving of the scent as she would go and roll in something unsavoury the first chance she got if she didn’t like it.She’s also not reacted to it, and her single coat feels lovely and soft.The shampoo foams well and is easy to rinse out. I only shampoo’d her once and didn’t feel I needed a second. The scent persists for a day or two, and I didn’t use much so even for her size it should last well.I’d say it’s good value given the quality, it’s free from any nasties, and I hope you find my experiences helpful.

I would definitely recommend this dog shampoo, especially for shorter hair dogs. The bottle is very classy looking and it looks expensive! When using on my dog I found it to lather well and a little goes a long way. I didn’t notice much scent but it feels luxurious. After washing my dog, she looks clean and her coat is glossy and has a lovely shine. There has been no irritation. I would buy again.

I have a very large dog who likes to jump into lakes and rivers and then roll about on the muddy grass when he gets out. It takes two of us to wrestle him into the bath, though. It's difficult finding a shampoo where the aroma lasts longer than a few hours. They all seem to smell nice, but the smell disappears before his next muddy escapades.This shampoo smells like one of mine, not sure if I can mention the brand, so will just say the smell is likely to be familiar. It lathers up well, and you don't need much to go a long way.It does say for single coats and I have a short haired double coated dog, but wanted to try anyway. He sheds quite a lot at various times of the year. Anything that will help with this is greatly appreciated.It has added oils which are helpful for him as he gets skin issues due to his part Shar Pei. These are managed with various foods and supplements, but anything extra is a welcome addition.It rinses out easily and there is no need for a second wash like there is with most dog shampoos. It leaves his coat lovely and shiny, and he smells nice until he manages to coat himself in mud again.

My little JRT has an all white coat, which means after nearly every outing, even just around the street, she comes back not only with dirty paws but with a dirty tummy, even with a coat that covers it and so needs a bath, usually a few times a day. I don't like to constantly use the same shampoo and as I had never seen one for a single coat dog, hers is short and single, I was really pleased to try this one and am happy to say it has now been added to my rotation of shampoos.It smells nice and my dog is happy with it, no scratching after use, sneezing or turning away as if trying to remove herself from the scent. She happily lets me use it on her. It gives nice foam that really does clean her coat - when you rinse off, you see the foam is dirty, carrying the dirt away, leaving her with a lovely clean coat. She sheds all year round, although admittedly this time of year (November) not as much as she will in warmer months, but since using this shampoo, I have noticed that she is shedding less hair than usual ( at 10 now I know how her coat acts throughout the year). Definitely a shampoo that will be used regularly from now on.Her coat actually seems slightly thicker since starting to use this shampoo and it is not her winter coat coming in, that will not happen until the weather is much colder and then it's not much thicker. It is nice to have a shampoo that is especially for her coat, just like we like to have a shampoo for our type of hair. This brand has the correct shampoo for every dog's coat, which I think is so good.

Smells gorgeous and gave her a super clean coat. Not Irritable at all

First of all, I loved the branding - the sophisticated looking pooch and moggy on the front are fun and confirm everything that we think of our pets. This is a bit more expensive than some other shampoos I've used but the high quality ingredients come through with the kinds to my dog's fur. It helped after he had irritation after a recent groom. And the smell is rich, pleasant and, dare I say, masculine. On wet and miserable winter days, it cuts through the grime too.

A delightful fragrance both during use and for days after.Whilst this is probably more expensive than shampoos I have used before, I see exactly why it’s priced at £15.95 - it’s made with good quality natural ingredients, has a lovely feel (very silky to touch), gives a good lather, rinses out easily, and most impressive of all, is the shine and softness it gives to my dogs coat.The scent is not overpowering at all. My dog doesn’t go insane after shower time and it’s gentle on his skin - no itching or scratching.Great value for money for such a high quality product. I have become a real fan of Barkin & Meowson products, their range of pet care items is fantastic and this revitalising shampoo is another brilliant item I’ve used from them. Like human hair, dog and cat hair is different depending on breed and this company has something for every hair type. I have been using this shampoo on some short haired foster dachshunds and it’s fantastic, the premium ingredients leaves their coats with a nice softness which other shampoos I’ve used doesn’t give. The bottle has a pump on top so it’s easy to dispense and a little goes a long way so it lasts a while. The scent is quite mild but I often like to finish dogs with a spritz of dog cologne after grooming so that doesn’t bother me.

Shampoo works well and does give a good clean however I wished it smelt more strongly. That said some might like the less powerful scent. Certainly does the job and a little goes a long way.

Love the Barkin & Meowson brand as used a fair few of their products now and always find them very decent quality and safe and effective to use. This shampoo is brilliant for really giving their coat a good lovely deep cleanse and leaving them looking and feeling super fresh and clean.Leaves their coat nice and shiny and felling lovely and soft and tangle free. Great smell which isn't too overpowering but lasts well too and great value for the brand so would fully recommend and happily get again.

This is a lovely product that has left our girl refreshed and clean. I normally avoid scented shampoos as she can be a little bit sensitive but this one is fairly mild and is really good quality with nothing added that I am worried about. In fact it seems to be as a higher standard as a premium human shampoo. If like me you’re always feel you wouldn’t give a product to your dog that isn’t the same quality as something you would consume yourself then this is certainly a product to consider. A little does go a long way and the pump dispenser helps with this. A good quality product at a reasonable price that I would definitely order again.

Brought his coat to life and left him so soft and shiny . I've not used one that costs this much before so did think it was probably going to be a let down but I used so little to get the job done that this is worth every penny. Gorgeous results

My dog absolutely hates bath time, but this shampoo made the process a little easier. It has a pleasant, mild scent that isn't overpowering for him (or me!). It lathered up really well and rinsed out completely, leaving his coat feeling super clean, incredibly soft, and with a beautiful healthy shine.
