The Spring Walks Duo

This is a fab brand which we have used quite a bit jn recently weeks with shampoos and other products etc.The bottles are sturdy and well made and won't leak and although not cheap I feel.its worth every penny. Very simple to use indeed and sprays very well and really smoothly. No nasty smells or effects and seems so far to be very effective for flea control

Arriving in a screw-top tin, this is a good quality and minimally greasy balm for paws and noses. The tin contains 60g, which will last a long time as a little goes a long way. The balm has no noticeable odour and my dog doesn't leave greasy footprints after I put it on her (always a plus!). Her paws feel softer already after applying it for a couple of days! Great product.

The thicker consistency helps the balm to stay in place for longer. The formula is also fragrance free. The ingredients are 99% natural too, what’s not to like?

I’ve been using the Barkin & Meowson Protecting Balm for Nose & Paw (60g), and it’s quickly become a staple in our pet care routine, especially with the colder weather setting in. This balm is veterinary dermatologist recommended and made with 99% natural ingredients, which immediately gave me confidence in its safety and quality.The texture is smooth and easy to apply, melting nicely into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It’s enriched with beeswax, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and cocoa butter, all of which work together to hydrate and protect. I’ve been applying it before walks and I’ve noticed a real improvement. My dog’s paw pads feel softer and less dry. It also works great on the nose to keep it from cracking or drying out.A big plus is that it’s fragrance- and paraben-free, which is ideal since dogs can be sensitive to strong scents. Balm for nose and paws although I only use it on dogs paws as mine never have a dry nose but I can see it would be ideal for those that suffer from cracked or dry snitches.  There is no smell which is good .  Its nice and thick but does rub in well .  The only thing I'm not so keen on is the tin - its soft aluminium and the lid is quite tight to put on - one of my efforts actually made the tin mishapen - this is possibly as the balm actually only half fills the tin, so I would prefer it in a smaller tin making it more convenient to carry around with you.  It is effective and I like that it is paraben, sulfate & cruelty free.  Interestingly although 99% natural I dont notice anywhere where it says it is lick safe.  Its slightly more expensive than some balms but not enough to prevent me buying it

Thick waxy consistency that needs a bit of warming up between your fingers before you can apply it properly. Once it softens it spreads fine and doesn't leave too much residue. Barely any smell, which is nice since dogs can be weird about scented stuff on their paws.Been putting this on my little dog before walks to hopefully give some protection against the cold and any grit. Can't say I've noticed a dramatic difference, but her paws aren't cracked or dry so it's probably doing its job. Does what it says on the tin, nothing more, nothing less.

As with other Barkin & Meowson products, this balm is top notch. The ingredients are natural and great quality. It’s full of highly nourishing and protective oils without the oily mess you’d normally have. It’s quite solid - I’ve found the best way to use it is by scraping the surface and warming it between my fingers before applying.The brand’s Hydrating Balm applies more easily, but for a heavier protective balm this version is fabulous - especially for paws.The tins are great for storing and keeping the product fresh - I’m not a fan of stickers covering labels and quite disappointed to see it here - I can’t get it off and even though it doesn’t affect the product, it’s not a good look - especially for such a quality brand.Great balm and well worth the price.

I ordered this as a complimentary product to work along side my spot on flea treatment.It was very easy to apply and the spray covers my dogs coat well. After massaging it, it dries quickly with no stickiness.It smells quite pleasant and my dogs don’t seem to be bothered or upset with the scent.My dogs had recently been in contact with another dog that had fleas and unfortunately my dogs brought some of the little critters home, so I’m using this along with a spot on treatment. My dogs were scratching a lot especially after applying the spot on but since applying this product to their coats, I’ve noticed a marked difference in their scratching and they seem much calmer and their coat feels soft with a slight scent.I don’t know if I’d use this product as my sole pesticide but as an accompaniment to my spot on treatment, this product is working well.

Used this on my parents dogs and it seems to do the job—no signs of fleas or ticks since applying, and no adverse reactions either. The spray goes on easily, has a mild citronella scent, and dries quickly. It’s a bit pricey compared to some other options, but the added ingredients and overall presentation make it feel like a more premium product. No concerns so far, and worth considering if you’re after something gentle but effective.

Another awesome Barkin & Meowson product for my little chihuahua! I use this flea and tick spray before we go out for walks - just a quick spritz over her coat to help deter any creatures that might fancy latching on while she's sniffing about in the grass. It's a spray-on formula so dead easy to apply, and no rinsing needed - just spray, give it a quick massage through the fur, and you're good to go.The citronella and geranium essential oils give it natural repellent properties without harsh chemicals, which I like given my dog's sensitive skin. It smells quite pleasant too - that lemony citronella scent - and she doesn't seem bothered by it at all. It's designed to work alongside your regular flea treatments (like the spot-on pipettes), so think of it as extra protection rather than a replacement. The added vitamin B5 and glycerine are a nice touch for keeping her coat conditioned. I've been really impressed with the whole Barkin & Meowson MedExpert range - they clearly know what they're doing with pet skincare 🐾

Difficult to review this product in December as this is not Flea or Tick season. I have sprayed it onto my dog and it's easy to do, smells nice to us humans and settles into the coat well, with a bit of massaging.I certainly wouldn't replace my flea and tick medicated treatment with just a spray but for the higher season it is a good addition to keep the little monsters away from the pooch.

This spray is well packaged with a clean nozzle and cap. The scent is citronella which generally repels many types of insects and bugs naturally and smells very pleasant too.Noticed less instances of bites in areas where this had been sprayed - however unfortunately the cat gets aggressive if we try to spray this near her or areas he spends a lot of time in - so it's not universally liked in the household!

Only discovered this brand recently but really love them and this is a lovely nose balm form them - very effective and easy to apply. A little goes a long way too so should last a long time so is good value too. Is good for paw pads too and leaves them lovely and soft with no weird smell. Very safe for your pup and good value for the brand and what it is so would fully recommend and happily get again.

This is perfect for our girl at this time of year as the roads get easy and her paws get irritated at times. It is gentle and fragrance free and she doesn’t seem to mind that being applied at all. Good quality ingredients with no nasties. In a nice easy to use tin at a reasonable price. A quality product that we will order more of in the future.

This is a highly effective nose and paws treatment for my dog. It leaves her pads soft and smooth, having been rough and cracked. It is satisfying to see the instant  improvement. Works nicely on her nose when dry, too.

Barkin & Meowson Nose and paw balm is actually doing wonders for our dogs.Firstly this nose balm comes quite thick and solid-ish in a cute tin so it’s easy to keep it nice and fresh. Due to the balm being in a more solid state I like to try and get more of it in my finger and then warm it up before popping it on my dog’s nose.We have flat faced dogs so their noses get really dry, this balm used 3/4 times a week made a huge different in my dogs noses . Everyone has a nicely moisturised snout now without any cracks which can often be painful.Fantastic natural product for your doggies.

Great for our big pup in colder weather.

Natural ingredients, fragrance free. It is solid like shoe polish so a bit tricky to accumulate much on your finger, but not much is needed.(I received this item free but am writing an impartial review)

Perfect for wet icy winter walks.Protects paws and noses from the elements and great for times the gritters have been out to prevent salty paws.Dogs aren’t bothered by it one bit.100% fragrance free. Using in conjunction with the moisturising balm to keep paws happy and healthy.

A totally natural balm to help stop dry and cracked paws and noses this winter. It comes in a lovely handy tin and it has absolutely no smell to it so as not to overwhelm your dog when you apply it. I can see this tin probably lasting well over a year so for the price its a bargain. Its that natural ive actually used some on myself for my dry hands  and it actually has helped me as well as kept my dogs pads and nose hydrated and supple so I dont have a bad word to say about this product and I feel its a must especially for the harsh weather!
