Deshedding Shampoo for Double Coat

Smells amazing.Has left my dogs coat feeling healthy and soft.A good quality shampoo that will last well!

I can't reccomend this dog shampoo enough. This is the first time I have used this brand and I went for the deshedding shampoo for double coat which is what my little lhasapoo needs woth her thick fur. It has keratin and vitamin B3 in it too. It has a wonderful scent to it too and smells so good on my dog but doesn't irritate her. It's vet reccomended too which is fantastic. I highly reccomend it thanks!

I don’t bath my dog too often as she has a double coat and I want to protect the oils. However I was really impressed with this shampoo. It doesn’t seem to strip the fur like other types of shampoo and leaves it feeling lovely and soft with a good shine. It lathers up well and also rinses out well. This is essential as she gets very impatient in the bath and wants to do zoomies all around the house soaking everything!!! It smells great and, once she is dry, I am finding it easy to get rid of a lot of surplus fur. She has sensitive skin so I did do a skin patch first and there were no reactions to it.The shampoo is at the higher end in regards to the price but I feel it is worth it. Recommended.

We used this shampoo for our Dash Hunt, who has some skin conditions under his belly. The texture is smooth and easy to lather, and the scent is mild, which he didn’t mind at all. After using it for about a week, we noticed some improvement in his skin, and his coat feels softer and looks cleaner.Bathing him was simple, and it didn’t irritate his sensitive areas. It seems to help with shedding as well, though it is still early to see the full results. Overall, it is a good product for dogs with skin sensitivities and long coats, and we plan to continue using it.

How I wish I had come across the Barkin and Meowson products long before now, I am beyond impressed.This deshedding dog shampoo smells lush, it has a luxurious consistency not watery like most generic pet shampoos, it has left my dogs coat feeling softer and easier to comb through and so clean.The pump style bottle works brilliantly ensuring you don’t use too much or too little, also for the price you get a lot of product.I found combing the dogs through easier and the fur on my German shepherd much easier to remove with a deshedding comb.Today the dogs still smell great after bathing them all yesterday.Highly recommended.

I have a golden retriever who, naturally, sheds a lot and occasionally stinks. I tried this shampoo on him and was impressed with how nicely yet subtly it smelled. I could smell the scent even on the next couple of days but very gently, without it being too intensive. His coat was soft and clean, even without using a conditioner afterwards. I would definitely recommmend this shampoo.

This deshedding shampoo is nice and works well for double-coated breeds. It leaves the fur feeling soft and fluffy after washing.

Used this on my collie who has sensitive skin, I did diluted it just in case with my collie but wow it smells mild, works really well so far on her skin & her coat is really shiny

I got this shampoo for my pug, as much as I love her to bits she doesn't half shed.The bottle came well packaged on arrival to prevent breakage and you recieve 350mls in a pump action bottle.The pump action bottle is extremely easy to use and ensures you get a good amount of shampoo with every pump.The shampoo foams up really well and the scent is really light and not over powering.This shampoo is packed with keritan and vitamin b3.Once my pug was bathed and dried she didn't smell like wet dog and her coat felt lovely and soft with minimal shedding.This shampoo has been gentle to my dogs skin and has caused no nasty reactions

This shampoo comes in an elegant bottle with a pump dispenser - really handy for when you need one hand free to hold on to a wriggly dog! The shampoo cleanses effectively and hopefully will be good for my springer spaniel's coat. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, I would say it reminds me of apple. I like that it is paraben and sulphate free, although there's no mention of being phthalate free. The price is much higher than I would pay for a dog shampoo as there's others that do the job just as well, so I personally wouldn't repurchase, but I can't fault the product so giving it 5 stars.

This product smells like the sort of shampoo I would use on my hair. It's like walking into a hair salon. Really lovely packaging - gives of luxury vibes. Nice pump action for easy use. The fact that it is also paraben and sulphate free is a big win. My GSD already has an amazing coat so only time will tell if she sheds less (I'm a little sceptical on this one).

I recently used this shampoo on my double-coated pup (similar to, say, an Akita) and found it made a definite difference. The coat felt a lot softer after use, tangles came out easier while brushing, and I noticed less loose fur around the house in the following days.What I liked:The formula penetrates thick fur and does a deep clean, which is ideal for dense undercoats.Tropiclean+2Tropiclean+2It has detangling/conditioning action built-in, so my brushes glided more smoothly after bathing.The scent was pleasant (not overpowering) and the coat looked refreshed.What could be better:I did find I used more than usual because of how dense the fur was—so for a large or very thick-coated dog, this might be a slightly heavier investment.While it did reduce shedding and loose fur, it didn’t eliminate it entirely (which is fair, given the breed/type), so it’s best used as part of a grooming routine (brushing, tool usage etc.).Because the under-coat still sheds naturally in thicker-coat breeds, be patient and consistent.Overall: A very good option if your dog has a thick, double coat or gets a lot of tangles. It won’t magically stop all shedding (no product will), but it definitely helps with manageability and coat health.

Excellent as a dog shampoo - verdict still out as to how much it helps with shredding!Comes very nicely packaged creating a very good first impression.In use that good impression continues with a beautiful scent. I wanted something suited to a double coat that could be used regularly without drying the skin out.This shampoo lathers well and spreads easily, so you don’t need to use loads in one go.Rinsing is straightforward, which makes bath time a bit quicker and less of a battle.After drying, the coat felt clean and soft rather than fluffy in an unnatural way.There did seem to be less loose hair coming away during brushing afterwards, which was a welcome bonus.The scent is mild and pet-friendly, not overpowering or perfumey.The consistency is good too, not watery, so it’s easy to control.That said, it’s not a miracle solution if a dog is heavily shedding at the peak of the season.It works better as part of a regular routine rather than a one-wash fix.The bottle feels well made and easy to handle with wet hands.For the size and quality, I think it’s fairly priced and lasts longer than expected.Overall, it’s a solid, gentle shampoo that fits well into normal coat maintenance without causing any fuss.

I used this on my German Shepherd with him being long haired and double coated. Time will tell to see if it helps with deshedding, but it's a nice luxury product with a nice suttle scent that wasn't overpowering.I like the packaging, it's quirky and fancy looking and with it being a pump action bottle it makes it easy to use, definitely handy while washing the dog.
